As a Lee County voter, it is your responsibility to keep your voter registration record current with the Elections Office. If your address, name, signature, or choice of party affiliation has changed, please be sure to notify our office of the change.
Address Changes within Lee County
If you have moved within Lee County, there are several ways to update your address. You may:
- Click here to change your address online.
Note: Do not enter an out-of-county mailing address as it will not reflect on your voter registration record.
- Call the Elections Office at 239-LEE-VOTE (239-533-8683) to update your address or have an application mailed to you. If you call to update your address, you will be asked to provide information that identifies you in the Supervisor of Elections records.
- Provide a signed, written notice that must contain your date of birth AND one of the following: the last four digits of your social security number, or your Florida driver's license number, or your Florida identification card number.
If completing an application, the original application must be signed and returned to the Elections Office by mail or in-person to any branch office. DO NOT email or fax an application.
If providing a signed, written notice, the notice can be returned to the Elections Office by mail, email, fax, or in-person to any branch office.
We will send you a new Voter Information Card once the change is processed.
Change of Address to Another Florida County
If you have moved to another county in Florida, you can use the Florida Online Voter Registration (OVR) or contact your new county’s Elections Office to change your address.
Cancel Your Florida Voter Registration
If you have moved to another state or wish to cancel your Florida Voter Registration, please:
- Complete a Florida Voter Registration Cancellation Form (English PDF / Spanish PDF)
- Provide a signed, written notice that contains your date of birth or voter registration number.
The notice MUST be signed and returned to the Elections Office by mail or in-person to any branch office. Once we receive and process your request, you will no longer be eligible to vote in Florida.
Name or Party Affiliation Changes
IMPORTANT! Florida is a closed primary state. You must submit a party affiliation change 29-days before each primary election. For more information, click here.
Name or party affiliation changes cannot be completed by telephone. If you have a Florida Driver's License or Florida ID Card, you can use Florida Online Voter Registration (OVR) to update your existing voter registration record. If you have neither, you may:

- Call the Elections Office at 239-LEE-VOTE (239-533-8683) to have an application mailed to you.

Signature Update
An update to the signature on your voter registration record may not be completed online or by telephone; the change must be made using a Florida Voter Registration Application. You may:
