Our mission is to deliver superior election services to the voters of Lee County.
What if I forgot to sign my Vote-by-Mail ballot or what if I'm not sure if my signature will match?
Per Florida Statute 101.68(4)(a), the Supervisor of Elections office will notify an elector who has returned a Vote-by-Mail ballot that does not include the elector’s signature or contains a signature that does not match the elector’s signature on record. The supervisor shall allow such an elector to complete and submit an affidavit in order to cure the Vote-by-Mail ballot.
If you have received notice that your signature did not match, or you omitted your signature, you must complete and return the Signature Cure Affidavit along with a copy of one form of identification to ensure your ballot will be counted.
