Election Results

 Lee County Real-Time Election Results

On election night, we will release and post preliminary, unofficial local election results shortly after 7:00 p.m. The 1st unofficial results, 2nd unofficial results (only for recounts), and official results will be compiled on the dates designated by the Canvassing Board Meetings and Logic and Accuracy Testing Schedule.

Election Results Categories are as follows:

Early Voting Results (This category will be available ONLY if Early Voting was held.)

Vote-by-Mail Results Vote-by-Mail results will initially be released but may be updated based on the completion of ALL eligible Vote-by-Mail ballots received by the Supervisor of Elections prior to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.


Election Day Results

On election night, results from the polls will begin to post shortly after 7:00 p.m. Election results from the polls will periodically update as results are transmitted from each precinct involved in the election and will continue to update until ALL precincts have reported.


Provisional Ballots (if any are cast in an election)

Results from eligible Provisional Ballots are not included in preliminary, unofficial local election results. Any person casting a Provisional Ballot has until the 2nd day following the election to present proof of eligibility. Results from eligible Provisional Ballots are included in the first unofficial results and subsequent official results of the election.


Statewide Election Results 

On election night, visitors to the main Division of Elections website will be automatically sent to the Florida Election Watch site. However, they can get back to the regular Division of Elections website through a link in the top banner. Election results will begin posting after 8:00 p.m. EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) to accommodate voting in the central time zone counties.

Our Archived Election Results may include: voter registration-book closing tallies, early voting results by location, official election results by summary and/or precinct, and demographic or statistical data.
