On Wednesday, March 13, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections mailed the Official Election Notice to Voters Residing Overseas to voters eligible to participate in the City of Sanibel Special Election. The special election will be held in the city on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election
Polling Location Changes and Updates
On Thursday, February 29, 2024, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections mailed approximately 20,000 notices to Republican voters in the precincts below with polling location changes or updates for the March 19, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary Election and future elections.
Following the March 19 Presidential Preference Primary Election, voters residing in the precincts below affected with a polling place permanent change, name change or address update, will be mailed a new voter information card. Voters residing in Precinct 318 with a temporary polling location change for the election will not receive a new voter information card.

2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election
Vote-by-Mail Ballots Mailed
On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections sent the initial mass mailing of approximately 55,000 Vote-by-Mail ballots for the March 19, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary Election.
The Florida Democratic Party nominated Joseph R. Biden, Jr., as their sole candidate, and there are no other contests on the ballot. Only voters registered with the Republican Party of Florida will be eligible to vote in Lee County in the March 19 election. Voters registered with the Florida Democratic Party, a minor political party, or no party will not have a ballot in this election.

On Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Lee County Supervisor of Elections mailed the Official Election Notice to Voters Residing Overseas to voters eligible to participate in the Captiva Erosion Prevention District Bond Referendum Special Election. The special election will be held in the district on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election
Official Election Notice to Voters Residing Overseas
On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, approximately 500 Lee County overseas voters will be mailed the Official Election Notice to Voters Residing Overseas. Florida's law requires the Supervisor of Elections to notify Lee County voters residing overseas at least 90 days before the March 19, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary Election of the procedures for voting by mail.

2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election Notice
The Lee County Supervisor of Elections will mail the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election Notice to approximately 457,000 Lee County mailboxes beginning Wednesday, November 1 through Friday, November 3. The notice provides information on registering to vote, requesting a Vote-by-Mail Ballot, and Early Voting dates, times, and locations for the March 19, 2024, election.

Vote-by-Mail Request Expired Notices
The Lee County Supervisor of Elections will begin mailing approximately 150,000 Vote-by-Mail Request Expired Notices on Thursday, August 31, 2023, to registered voters who had previously requested a Vote-by-Mail Ballot for the 2022 General Election but have not submitted a request for the 2024 election cycle.
Voters who receive a Vote-by-Mail Request Expired Notice may update their request status online, by phone (239) 533-8683, by mail, e-mail, fax, in person at any one of our branch offices locations, or by scanning the QR code on the postcard. New requests are valid through December 2024.

2023 Voter Registration List Maintenance Mailing
Address Confirmation Final Notices
Florida's law requires Supervisors of Elections to conduct voter registration list maintenance programs to protect the integrity of the electoral process by ensuring the preservation of accurate and current voter registration records.
The following notice will be mailed on Monday, August 14, 2023, to voters who have not voted in the last two General Elections, or an intervening election, and have not updated their voter record.
