The Community Education Services Department (CESD) was created to enhance the non-partisan services provided by the Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office. The purpose of the CESD is to serve our constituents and to provide awareness about the importance and privilege of voting. The CESD has established partnerships with various government, nonprofit, and private agencies throughout Lee County.

Please refer to the Community Events Calendar to learn about our upcoming events.

The CESD staff relies on the assistance of Patriots to fulfill our agency’s goals. Patriots are part-time election workers who are hired, trained, and supervised by the CESD. They attend any community event before, during, or after an election that full-time staff is unable to attend. Therefore, Patriot’s support to the CESD is highly valuable to our agency.

If you are interested in having the Lee County Supervisor of Elections Staff provide voter education presentations, voter registration drives, conduct mock elections, student government elections, straw polls, school tours at the Elections Center, or if you would like to become a Patriot, (Bilingual Spanish-English people are encouraged to apply) contact us here:
